Blade in D2 steel
Le Faucon's clip point blade has a curved silhouette with a fine tip, resulting from a partially concave spine near the end. D2 steel, with high chromium content, is known for its good edge retention and wear resistance, at the cost of somewhat lower corrosion resistance than a standard stainless steel — regular care (cleaning, drying, a light coat of oil) is recommended.
Titanium and carbon fiber handle
The handle combines titanium and carbon fiber inserts. Titanium provides rigidity and corrosion resistance, while the carbon fiber lightens the overall weight and offers better grip thanks to its visible woven texture.
