Are Maison Lame knives legal in France?
Yes. Folding knives with a blade under 12 cm are legal to purchase and own in France. Carrying one in public is subject to regulation. We recommend checking the legislation in force wherever you are.
What steel do you use?
We select several premium steels depending on the model (premium stainless steels, Damascus...), chosen for their corrosion resistance, hardness and edge retention. The exact steel used is listed on each product page.
How do I care for my blade?
Wipe the blade after use, apply a light coat of mineral oil to the blade and pivot, and store it in a dry place. See our care guide for more details.
What are the shipping times?
About 9 days, whether shipping within mainland France, to Europe, or internationally. Free shipping, no minimum order.
Can I return an item?
You have 14 days from receipt to return an unused item in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. Please contact us before returning anything, at contact@maisonlame.fr.
Does the warranty cover sharpening?
No. The 2-year legal warranty covers manufacturing defects, not normal wear, sharpening, or accidental damage.
